Aiman Mussakhajayeva – an outstanding violinist, People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts, «Artist for Peace», Professor, prominent public figure.
Aiman Mussakhajayeva was born in 1958, in Almaty. She studied at a violin class at the specialized music school for talented children named after K. Bayseitova in professor N.M. Patrusheva’s class. (nowadays Republican secondary specialized music boarding school for talented children named after K. Baiseitova).
After graduating from a specialized school, she entered the Almaty State Conservatory named by Kurmangazy. (now the Kazakh national Conservatory named by Kurmangazy). In 1978, she transferred to the Moscow State Conservatory. P. I. Tchaikovsky in the class of people’s artist of Russia, Professor Valery Klimov (nowadays Moscow state Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky). The famous University Aiman Mussakhajayeva graduated with honors. From 1983 to 1986, she continued her training at the assistant-internship of the same institution.
Since 1983, Aiman Mussakhajayeva has been a soloist of the Kazakh state Philharmonic (now the Kazakh state Philharmonic). Zhambyl). Since 1990, he began teaching at the walls of the Kurmangazy ASC as an associate Professor and head of the Department, then Professor (1993).
In 1993, Aiman Mussakhajayeva became the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the State Chamber Orchestra “Academy of Soloists”, created on her initiative. In 1998, Aiman Mussakhajayeva headed a new University in Kazakhstan-the Kazakh National Academy of Music. By nowadays she still holds position of the Rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts, established in 2010 on the basis of KazNAM (Academy).
For many years, Aiman Mussakhajayeva has been conducting creative, educational, organizational, teaching and social work.
Aiman Mussakhajayeva – Member of the Chamber under the Mazhilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Member of the Republican public headquarters of the candidate for the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev (02.2011–04.2011), a Member of the National Commission for women Affairs and family-demographic policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of political party “Nur Otan”, the Chairman of the primary party organization of the Kazakh National University of Arts and etc.
Aiman Mussakhajayeva was awarded the title of People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Kazakstannyn Enbek Eri”, UNESCO title “Artist for Peace”, honored artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “Honorary citizen of Astana”, etc.
In 2002, the name of Aiman Mussakhajayeva was included in the IDC world honorary list “2000 outstanding musicians of the twentieth century”, as well as in the encyclopedic dictionary of the University of Cambridge “Outstanding musicians of the XX century” (2002). She was awarded the honorary title of “International Musician of the year 2003″by the Cambridge international Biographical center.

Aiman Mussakhajayeva is an honorary worker of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (twice: in 2003 and in 2008), academician of the Academy of international creativity, Knight the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic awarded by the President, a Member Of the Association of Laureates Of The international Tchaikovsky competition, etc.
Aiman Kozhabekovna was awarded with the Order of Friendship, medals “Astana”, “10 zhyl Astana”, “Kazakhstan Republikasynyn Tauelsizdigine 20 zhyl”, “for services to culture Gloria Artis”, silver medal Gustav Mahler, etc.
At the initiative Aiman Mussakhajayeva Kazakhstan hosts International competitions and festivals. Among them – the International competition of violinists “Astana-Merey” and the International competition of violinists. According to authoritative musicians of the world, T. shimitsu, M. Abbado, E. Grach, A. Vinnitsky and others, these events are distinguished by a high level of performance.
Aiman Kozhabekovna involved in the jury and the organizing committees of International competitions and festivals. So, she headed the 2017-2018 international film festival “Eurasia”, included by the authoritative British publication International FilmGuide in the shortlist of the world’s leading film festivals.
Aiman Mussakhajayeva released two CDs at the recording company “Deutsche Grammophon” with pianist Pavel Gililov and a program with the Wiener Symphoniker Orchestra conducted by Manuel Hernandez Silva.
Aiman Mussakhajayeva collaborates with famous musicians, including Misha Maysky, Bruno Canino, Viktor Tretyakov, Eduard Grach, Pavel Gililov, Vladimir Spivakov, Sergey Raldugin, Christian Schultz, Gudni Emilsson, and others.
In various years, she has performed with leading symphonic and chamber orchestras of the world: Wiener Symphoniker, Royal Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma, National Symphony Orchestra of Russia, European youth Symphonic Orchestra and other ensembles under the direction of Vladimir Fedoseev, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazi, Mikhail Pletnev, Pavel Kogan, Vladimir Spivakov, Saul Sondetskis, Mikhail Yurovsky, Fuat Mansurov and many others.
Aiman Mussakhajayeva performs in the best concert halls of the world: the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatory (Moscow), Carnegie Hall (New York), Lincoln Centre (New York), Avery Fisher Hall (New York), Musicferein (Vienna), Gaveau (Paris), Cortot (Paris), Pleyel Concert Hall (Paris), Santa Cecilia (Rome), Queen Elizabeth Hall (London), Vigmor Hall (London), Barbican Hall (London), Royal Festival Hall (London), Guildhall (London), Konzerthaus (Berlin, Vienna), etc.
Concert programs are performed by Aiman Mussakhajayeva on the violin of Antonio Stradivari made in 1732.
