He performs as a solo artist at state concerts and on television, radio. Recordings performed by Edil Basygarayev are stored in the “Golden” Fund of the National Television and Radio Company “Kazakhstan”.

By the decree of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he took part in the release of CDs of the anthology of Kazakh traditional music “Mangilik Saryn”, “Kazaktyn 1000 kuyi”. He took part in the music festivals of the Turkic peoples “Astana-Arkauy”, “Uly dala sazy”. In 2014, as part of traditional performers, he took part in a film role as part of the UNESCO project for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, as a result of which “Kazakh Dombra Kui” was included in the UNESCO list as a cultural and spiritual heritage of mankind.
