Utekesheva Alma Karataevna –  docent of the department “Directing Cinema and TV” KazNUA (Kazakh National University of Arts), director of television.

She graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema.

Since 2011, she has been working at KazNUA at the Department of Cinema and TV.

During the work at KazNUA a lot of work was done with students. Students of the studio of  Utekesheva A.K. took part and won prizes at national festivals and competitions (Delphic Games, “KinostArt”, “Ushkyn”, festival in Sevastopol, XIX World Festival of Youth and Students in Sochi (2017).

As a director, along with her students, Alma Utekesheva took part in the creation of various television and documentary projects
