BEHIND THE
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE!
At the
beginning of the new academic year, the library staff heard the next Address of
the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Fair
Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism".
In the Address,
the Head of State touched upon current issues of the country's development and
spoke in detail about the ways to accomplish complex tasks. The first of them
for us is the increase in the number of high-quality schools. Kazakh National
University of Arts is a higher educational institution integrated into a single
system of continuous comprehensive education for the training of specialists in
the Republic of Kazakhstan. This educational institution educates
schoolchildren, college students, undergraduates, master's students, and
doctoral students.
Therefore, the
focus is on educational and upbringing work. The basis of the educational work
of the university is the basic principles of modern education, the main ones of
which are the preparation of spiritually and intellectually developed, creative
citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In his Address, the Head of State noted
that "Secondary education plays a huge role in strengthening the country's
human resources potential. The national project "Comfortable School"
is being implemented on the instructions. The special role of teachers in
building a Fair Kazakhstan has been noted; in recent years, a lot of work has
been done in the country to increase the prestige of the teaching profession.
At the same time, it is necessary to take measures to strengthen the
functionality of schools, further improve the qualifications and social status
of our teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt a new standard for
accreditation of pedagogical universities and develop a framework of teacher
competencies." Secondly, Kazakhstan should become a country that widely
uses artificial intelligence and develops digital technologies. Next year, the
National Center for Artificial Intelligence should be launched in Astana, which
will be open to schoolchildren, students, researchers, and entrepreneurs. And
our library will work, organizing its work so that the younger generation has
the opportunity to obtain the necessary information to achieve these goals.
