These melodies were recorded from ancient sources and are stored in the Conservatory of Phonetics and in the gold fund of the Kazakh Radio. The textbook and methodological manual analyzes the performing model of Mangistau zhyrshy and zhyrau. Artists from Mangistau performed the kyuis included in the book and sang songs of the seven peoples that inhabited Mangistau.
